Green Lighting

LED / SOLAR / INDUCTION / T5HO

LED residential and commercial lighting technology is advancing rapidly and reliable new products are being introduced to the market nearly every month. Indoor and outdoor LED light fixtures use significantly less energy, up to 60% less in some applications. LED light fixtures contain no mercury and have a L70 lumen depreciation life as long as 150,000 hours – depending upon fixture temperature and configuration.

CRI Lighting is a sustainable lighting expert that can help you to choose the right fixture at the right price for your application.

Daylight Harvesting- Easylite

Daylight Harvesting- Easylite
Key to Green Lighting Objectives

San Diego and Daylight Harvesting go together like the sun and the moon - perfect harmony.

Daylight harvesting can be an important component to minimizing a building’s energy requirement by decreasing interior luminaire output when sufficient solar lighting is evident.

Daylight harvesting is a bit of hippy-like concept so the industry has come up with a phrase rich in techo-babble: Integrated Lighting Systems, or ILS for short.

Daylight harvesting ILS can provide energy savings of 20 to 60% and utility rebates are available. Simple payback periods for Daylight Harvesting are application specific and typically range in the 2 – 6 year timeframe.

Easylite is an American company based in Colorado that makes high quality daylight harvesting equipment packages to retrofit fluorescent lighting systems. The Easylite ILS is not complicated to install and provides attractive energy savings results by maximizing the contribution of sunlight toward workplace illumination. Their website says it best…..

A Smart, Simple, Single-source ILS. Guaranteed.

Smart. Our patented dimming ballasts channel low voltage power to all Easylite ILS controls and sensors. That same low voltage power runs Easylite’s analog ILS control loop, and triggers low voltage on/off control.

Simple. Go ahead, plug and play. Easylite ILS uses safe, pre-terminated low voltage cable to connect and configure your system.

Single source. We designed it, it performs, guaranteed.

The equipment packages contain all required parts and include dimmable fluorescent ballasts, low voltage RJ –11 connectors, control module and sensors in an easy to configure, install and commission system.

Daylight harvesting not only saves energy but can contribute to LEED points and can be a factor toward enhancing employee productivity. The California Lighting Technology Center advocates daylight harvesting and has conducted several impressive demonstrations. See http://cltc.ucdavis.edu/content/view/333/295/
